#13 define success

       
 
      In my opinion, the best definition of word “success” from dictionary.com is the accomplishment one’s goals. When I was young, I used to think that “success” simply means a lot of money. I thought if someone is a rich, that person is living in a successful life. However, now I don’t think money is all that gives people success. Now I think that success has to deal with everything that satisfies people’s hope.

For example, even if a person is a rich guy and living in a huge, fancy mansion, it doesn’t mean success if that person is lonely because they don’t have family. Emotional satisfaction also has to be achieved in order to have a successful life. Emotional satisfaction plays important role for humans to work effectively and achieve what they want. People who are emotionally sad cannot concentrate or focus on what they have to do and thus it lowers the efficiency.

           Also, health is also important. Healthy body is needed for almost everything. For example, we have to be healthy in order to be able to eat anything we want to. If we are sick, there will be so many limitations of what we can do to make our life happy and successful. A life spending most of time in hospital cannot be a successful life unless that person really enjoys it. Most of the people feel sad about disease they have and that can lead to serious metal problem of depression. Thus, health can determine both of emotional satisfaction and economic success.

           Sometimes people still feel happy even if they are poor. If a person satisfies everything about his/her life and appreciates whatever he/she has now, that person’s life is considered to be a successful life. People do not have to rich in order to achieve success. Some people still demand that money is everything, but that is wrong. Of course, economic ability is really vital for people to do what they want and satisfy their need. However, richness does not directly mean success. There are so many rich people who are not happy about their life and so many people who are completely happy about their life even though they are poor.

           It depends on people to define success, but generally when a person is living in a happy, satisfied life, it can be considered as success. Everyone has to work hard and try hard to be successful. Sometimes other people can help people who seek for success, but most of the success is achieved by their own work. It can be said ridiculous to want other people to achieve successful life for them. Thus, people should work as hard as they can in order to achieve their goals and be living in a successful life.
