Favorite super hero

           Personally, I don’t like super hero very much. However, there is one group of super heroes that I like. They are Sailor Senshi. They are from “Sailor Senshi,” which is a Japanese animation.  I watched “Sailor Senshi” when I was about 5 years old. It was my favorite animation of entire world, and still is. Sailor Senshi is a group of girls that have super power from each one’s planet. Their names are sailor moon, sailor mars, sailor mercury, sailor venus, and sailor jupiter. All of them are high school girls hiding their super power and live as normal teenagers.  First one who became sailor senshi was Usagi, sailor moon. She helped a cat being bullied by other cats and that cat told Usagi that she is a sailor senshi. After that, other 4 became sailor senshi, also.          

      My 2 favorite sailor senshi among those 5 girls are sailor mercury and sailor venus. First of all, sailor mercury has ability to control water. She is a genius with IQ of 180 and she is quiet, but very kind to other people. She has short, dark blue hair. When I was young, I had a long hair, but I told my mom that I want to have short hair like sailor mercury. My favorite episode of sailor mercury was a story about sailor mercury and her stalker. Someone called kept calling sailor mercury and said nothing, and she found out that the one who kept calling her was a classmate from her last class. He was very kind but he met bad guys who are against sailor senshi, and that guys made him stalk sailor mercury and kill her. Sailor mercury was told to come to amusement park and she was afraid of it, but she went there to stop him from being controlled by the bad guys. At first, he was so strong, so sailor mercury couldn’t beat him, but after, sailor moon’s boyfriend came and helped sailor mercury. Finally, the stalker was freed from control of bad guys.

       My second favorite sailor senshi is sailor venus. She has long blond hair with ribbon and she is really pretty. She has ability to control the light. She is Usagi’s best friend because she gives lots of advices for Usagi about love. Also, she is very popular among boys because she is really pretty and kind. Sailor Venus is the last one who became sailor senshi among 5 girls. However, all of them are very close to each other and love each other. My favorite episode of sailor venus was about episode on the boat. Sailor venus was told that she was invited to boat party. She went there and no one was there except a woman who looked like a butterfly. She was also controlled by bad guys against sailor senshi. Sailor venus was very scared of her because she was always with other sailor senshi but this time, she was alone. However, she could successfully save the woman from the control of bad guys.

Seven deadly sins

           Many people have different things that they consider as sin. In the Bible, there are seven deadly sins. Those are Wrath, Greed, Envy, Pride, Sloth, Gluttony, and Lust. Wrath is vindictive anger, Greed is too much desire of something, Envy is Jealousy, Pride is being too self-satisfied, Sloth is laziness, Gluttony is too much desire of something to eat, and Lust is the need to fulfill unspiritual desires such as sexual desires. Among those sins, ones that I am guilty of are Greed, Sloth, and Gluttony.

           First of all, I am guilty of Greed. I sometimes want new shoes or clothes even if I have many of them. The reason that I think that I am guilty of Greed is that I want something while I have many of them that I don’t use. I always know that I have to use what I have first, but when I see something pretty, I just ask my parents to buy one even though I should not get one. Fortunately, my parents do not buy something for me without proper reason, thus they prevent me from overspending money on what I actually don’t need a lot. I think now I have to prevent myself from wanting many things because that is greed and greed is bad thing.

           Secondly, I am guilty of Sloth. This might be the one that I am guiltiest of entire sins. I am just too lazy and slow. I always do homework right before the due date and I prepare for school really late. I can wake up early, but my laziness make me sleep again, thus make me late for school. In 9^th grade, I had 4 pages long research paper and I had only 1 page done a day before the due date. I had to work so hard in order to write 3 more pages a day, and I regretted for it. However, even if I regret every time that my laziness brought me a problem, I am still lazy. Same thing happens all the time because of my sloth. Now I really want to change my self to a hard-working person because these days, I heard a lot of things from graduated seniors that college is way different from high school. They said that I can’t do like what I am doing in high school, such as being lazy and pushing all the homework right before the due date, because colleges have so much work to do. I will try my best to change myself not to be lazy but very hard-working.

           Finally, I am also guilty of Gluttony. Gluttony is similar with Greed but this is desire of food. I think the reason that I always swear to myself that I am going to lose weight but fail is Gluttony. I can stand feeling hungry, but I love to eat something delicious. However, something tastes great would make me gain weight and fail to lose weight. If I didn’t have gluttony, I would successfully lose weight. I always plan to lose weight every year, but I failed it. This year, I will try really hard and success my plan.

Favorite Trip

             I love to go to somewhere I have never visited. I had lots of trips with my family, and my favorite trip was a trip to Palau. Palau is a pacific island that is smaller than Saipan and less-developed.  I visited Palau with my whole family during summer vacation when I was in 8^th grade. Before I heard that we were going to have a family trip to Palau, I did not even know the existence of Palau. My mom told me that Palau’s sea has been selected as the sea of the most beautiful color before the trip. Right after I arrived on Palau, all I thought was “It’s so hot”. Even though Korea was in summer, too, Palau’s summer was way different from Korea’s. It was much more humid, and windy. I was very shocked of size of airport on Palau. It was so small. Also, Palau was so not developed. Our guide told us that Internet is not fully developed. For me, as a Korean, It was very shocking thing because Korea is the country that has the fastest internet.

            There were 2 places that I like the most on Palau. First one is the Jellyfish Lake. Jellyfish Lake is one of the most famous places on Palau because it is the only lake that safe jellyfish is living. Jellyfish in the Jellyfish Lake does not sting. Also, it is not poisonous, so we could touch them anytime we want. I have never seen jellyfish that close. They were very cute, squishy. There were several sizes of jellyfish from finger-size to dish-size. Our guide told us something very important before we went into the water. He said that we should not pee in water because that will cause jellyfish near us die. The reason is that jellyfish is sensitive of ammonia in urine. When I first went into water, I was very scared because the color of water seemed dark due to the depth of the lake. We wore safe vest and snorkels. I looked into the water and the lake was just full of jellyfish. I could see jellyfish everywhere. I couldn’t believe that I was swimming with hundreds of thousands of jellyfish.
           
             Second favorite place on Palau is the Milkyway. Milkyway was narrow sea on palau which is surrounded by cliffs and trees. It was called Milkyway because the mud under the sea was white and smooth. We were told that that mud is good for skin so we put them on all over our body. One of the local people dived into the water and brought mud for us. It felt so good to touch soft mud, so I just put them on my hands for whole time. Also, I really felt that my skin became smoother before I put it on my body. We also took picture with white mud on our body. One of my uncles took picture with so funny face, making all of us laugh so hard.
          
            Trip to Palau was my favorite trip in my life. It was so good because my whole family was with me. Even though it was quite tired trip, I loved it and If I can, I want to visit Palau again when I become an adult.
